1. SKUx Awarded Payment Patent
SKUx has been granted two U.S. patents for its item-level payment processing technology. The first patent streamlines in-store special offer processing, important for the healthy benefits market. The second integrates offers with customer systems for efficient tracking, aligning with the trend in rebate gift cards. 2. Maximum Bitcoin ETF Hype
Update: The SEC has officially approved 11 Bitcoin ETFs - On the show, we talk about the hype leading up to the BTC ETF approval as it happens, exploring how this can impact the Hedera ecosystem. Some notable things include 2.8 Billion USDT being transferred, the SEC getting ""hacked"", 𝕏's response to ""hack"" claims and other notable items in the timeline. There was also wild, volatile price action for BTC.
3. Hedera at Davos 2024
Last year's visit to Davos caused a pump in HBAR and a flurry of activity in the ecosystem. Opinions may differ regarding Davos and the WEF, but we can all agree that Hedera attending has a net-positive effect. I've absorbed most of the interviews and information regarding Hedera's strategy and plan for Davos 2024, leaving me compelled to say I think this could be better than we think. They have a fresh strategy, prime real estate, a large footprint and past experience, which changes my opinion when comparing the setup this year, to last year. To be honest, the setup this year makes me feel like Hedera Haus was over-rated...
